Born-and-bred New Yorker here.

Bloomberg is a anus of epic proportions.

I choose that term because in Latin, “anus” has two distinct meanings:

1. the terminus of the digestive tract and 2. an old biddie.

Bloomberg is both.

Hey Bloomberg, if you want to help fight against Global Warming, DO NOT TURN NEW YORK’S POWER BACK ON.

Bloomie should deny any permission to rebuild in flooded areas until climate change is proven to be halted and reversed. That would be, maybe 100 years or so for sufficient evidence. All of the displaced businesses and people can just wait it out.

The way I see it is that there was no threat to the New England coast until they put up those stupid windmills and changed the wind patterns (a theory just as plausible as climate change, Don’t you think?). Did any of these awesome scientists bother to examine what thousands of windmills all over the world do to existing wind patterns? I didn’t think so. This is the argument I have personally used against my “global warming” friends. Instead of helping fight global warming they made it worse than if they just left it alone. They really don’t know what to say. I am a little surprised that I have not heard anyone else make this argument but feel free to use it if need be. I am not a scientist but this seems to make sense.

Hey Bloomberg, instead of spending all that money on "green" projects you should have built a sea wall to protect Battery Park and the FDR drive. You could also have built gates to protect NY harbor from surges. You have the choke points.

In your endorsement you admit "climate change" may not have anything to do with it. Indeed, Force 1 hurricanes have hit the US before but NYC has usually been spared. Do you really think reducing our carbon footprint would show any benefits within the next 50 years? If so, you're the only one. A US President cannot stop China, India and Brazil from cancelling out anything we would do.

Obama has done nothing on climate change and not even mentioned it in the debates. His "green energy" projects consist of wasting taxpayer dollars on pet projects for his supporters. The companies go bankrupt or the workers sit around playing cards and we are stuck with the bill.

Just admit you're fellating the President so he'll feed you $Bs in taxpayer money to compensate for your lack of preparation,

Bloomberg is proof that you can be stark, staring insane, and still be mayor of NYC.

Hurricane Sandy was a fairly unexceptional hurricane, in all respects except for its turn to the northwest instead of the northeast. The cause of this directional tendency was a persistently negative NAO (North Atlantic Oscillation) pattern (where the northern jet stream dips over the eastern Atlantic instead of the mid-continental US). During the past year, the NAO had been positive (partially due to the Pacific El Nino and an anomalous PNA pattern - neither of which have anything whatsoever to do with short-term global warming, which, as a matter of measurable atmospheric temperatures, ended thirteen years ago.

Regardless, Bloomberg is the same idiot he's always been - a big government nanny who hates the 2nd Amendment and any other manifestations of freedom.

Too bad Bloombottom did not spend the night of the hurricane inspecting the deepest portions of the NYC subway system.

He would have done NYC the biggest favor possible.

Ozone Mike backs Obama over CLIMATE CHANGE?

Is this the same Bloomberg we are talking about?

Ha!

W0W! NY will probably go obama now.

What this is all about is FEMA money. Bloomberg figures if obama loses he’ll still be able to hit him up for FEMA money before he leaves office. But obama is between a rock and a hard place. What will Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnisota think about that?

“ichael R. Bloomberg said Thursday that Hurricane Sandy had reshaped his thinking about the presidential campaign”

Right, so he was ready to endorse Romney but Sandy dumped a lot of water on New York city and he has to support Mr Status Quo because, what, exacty? Obama will actually make the seas recede? But if he was going to do that, why didnt he do it in his FIRST four years?

That’s the dumbest reason for an endorsement that I have ever heard in my entire life. This is dumber than the ‘lady parts’ endrosement. Dumber than Madonna’s endorsement. Dumber than the ‘he has to finish what he started’ excuse (Obama is a one man wrecking crew).

Bloomberg is not an idiot, so I have to conclude he is lying.

Maybe they should stop messing around with geoengineering (just one example, Bill Gates in New Mexico) and then we wouldn’t be seeing “climate change.” As per usual with idiotic goobt-sponsored/supported projects, they backfire. They’re dropping aerosols on the entire planet to combat fake-global warming, and in the process, baking and dehydrating us to death. All of the leftists and one-world-goobt types are beyond evil.

I would think the mayor of a city with several million residents currently living in the dark, would be grateful for any electricity right about now, even the kind generated by cheap dirty coal.

With much more pressing problems for NYC, this is the LAST THING Maryor Blumberg needs to do.

So the moron lets a Cat 1 Hurricane, that never made landfall on US soil as an actual Hurricane, determine who he votes for as President ?
