In a surprise announcement, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg said Thursday that Hurricane Sandy had reshaped his thinking about the presidential campaign and that as a result he was endorsing President Obama.

Bumberg endorsing NYC’s further decline with big ZerO. I’m one of those who think God allowed this awful storm as a wake up call to the arrogant and godless. They’re not learning their lession it seems.
A decision based on emotion rather than fact and reason.
A surprise? To whom? Not to me.
That does it for me, I’m taking my Romney signs and changing my registration to IDIOT!
Rich gay dwarves for Obama!
I’m surprised Boehner hasn’t come right out with a 0bammy endorsement. The Weeper likely doesn’t want Romney to win.
Makes sense. If you’re undecided, after thinking about the economy and Libya, then Sandy should make up your mind.

Could fear be the emotion (of unrest in da’hood?)
Born-and-bred New Yorker here.
Bloomberg is a anus of epic proportions.
I choose that term because in Latin, “anus” has two distinct meanings:
1. the terminus of the digestive tract and 2. an old biddie.
Bloomberg is both.
Hey Bloomberg, if you want to help fight against Global Warming, DO NOT TURN NEW YORK’S POWER BACK ON.
The soda pop munchkin speaks!
Bloomie should deny any permission to rebuild in flooded areas until climate change is proven to be halted and reversed. That would be, maybe 100 years or so for sufficient evidence. All of the displaced businesses and people can just wait it out.
The way I see it is that there was no threat to the New England coast until they put up those stupid windmills and changed the wind patterns (a theory just as plausible as climate change, Don’t you think?). Did any of these awesome scientists bother to examine what thousands of windmills all over the world do to existing wind patterns? I didn’t think so. This is the argument I have personally used against my “global warming” friends. Instead of helping fight global warming they made it worse than if they just left it alone. They really don’t know what to say. I am a little surprised that I have not heard anyone else make this argument but feel free to use it if need be. I am not a scientist but this seems to make sense.
In your endorsement you admit "climate change" may not have anything to do with it. Indeed, Force 1 hurricanes have hit the US before but NYC has usually been spared. Do you really think reducing our carbon footprint would show any benefits within the next 50 years? If so, you're the only one. A US President cannot stop China, India and Brazil from cancelling out anything we would do.
Obama has done nothing on climate change and not even mentioned it in the debates. His "green energy" projects consist of wasting taxpayer dollars on pet projects for his supporters. The companies go bankrupt or the workers sit around playing cards and we are stuck with the bill.
Just admit you're fellating the President so he'll feed you $Bs in taxpayer money to compensate for your lack of preparation,
Bloomberg is proof that you can be stark, staring insane, and still be mayor of NYC.
Regardless, Bloomberg is the same idiot he's always been - a big government nanny who hates the 2nd Amendment and any other manifestations of freedom.
Too bad Bloombottom did not spend the night of the hurricane inspecting the deepest portions of the NYC subway system.
He would have done NYC the biggest favor possible.
Ozone Mike backs Obama over CLIMATE CHANGE?
...even after it was discovered he was cooling his parked SUV by lowering an air conditioner from his upstairs office with extension chord so he cool the his gas guzzler waiting at the curb below?
Is this the same Bloomberg we are talking about?
Ha!
