I live in the NW, but I’m going to bet that folks that live in the South East must be just beside themselves in the pitty party, whining bs, that is coming out of this Cat 1 storm, tidal surge.

Storms happen, and people that live right next to an ocean.... should keep in mind that if you go too near the water, you get wet.

No offense to anyone that is suffering in the NE, but gee whiz, all over this country we have natural disasters, and the media now is going to turn this into some sensational over the top event.

What about the fires we had in the West this year....or the droughts in the Mid West? MSM paid minor lip service to it but where was Bon Jovi or Bruce Springsteen then? Phony bastards.

Had that conversation several times this week here in FL. I do think the devastation of some of those NJ towns is significant and a few pockets in NY, but it was a Cat 1 storm, and most of the damage we saw in other areas were simply big old trees uprooted and typical storm surge.
