...which reminds me; since media is culpable, but its difficult for all of us to completely turn off all media, I'm developing thoughts on debilitating NBC.

If we can't turn off the news completely, we could easily start by avoiding NBC tripe like it was a plague. We could take NBC NEWS down to the point of unprofitability.
