Does anyone know how far one can LEGALLY go to defend one’s self, family, or home from rioters/looters?

Yes, yes, yes, I know we can all go the “better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6” route, but I’d like to know where the line is before I theoretically would have to cross it.

This is information that we all will need to know in the near future, I believe.

It should be very clear to you, when the time comes. It should be... and if not, give the guns to your wife and kids. They’ll figger it out.

What happened to the Korean Grocers in LA?

I don’t think I am going to worry.

If you want a serious answer, you should know better than asking on the internet.

That said, in most states, you have to have a reasonable fear for your own safety or the safety of others (family, etc.) before you can employ deadly force.

Such force should be employed to remove the threat to your safety.
