Yeah, the voters hate what those darn rascally Republicans did so much, why they voted many, many more of them into power! LOL!!
What is Best in Life, Romney ??
To crush Barack Obama. . .
To see him driven before you. . .
And to hear the lamentations of the Democrats. . .
That is Good!!
The “hidden vote” are folks (primarily white) who bought into Obama’s hope and change rhetoric in ‘08 but now have serious buyer’s remorse. However, they don’t cotton to the idea of being called a racist for changing their vote, so they’ve primarily kept quiet. But their millions of votes will speak volumes.
Do you know what the popular vote percentages were in those two landslides? I have predicted a 358-180 electoral win for Romney with a 55%-45% popular vote. (I know - I am a cockeyed optimist.) I wonder if my two predictions are compatible.
LOL! Gotta love the MSM's sad attempt to emotionally manipulate the masses!
hidden vote to crush - Like there is something dark, sinister and dangerous lurking in the electoral shadows.
With voter fraud in 2008, some areas had more votes than registered voters, especially in large Democratic controlled urban areas. Do we really think that they won't do this again? We really need an energized turnout to offset the type of fraud that took place in 2008.
Chavez actually lost in Venezuela, but then those who counted the votes took over the election. Will we have the same type of scenario occur here in the US? Wasn't Jimmy Carter part of a UN election monitoring team in Venezuela? didn't he put his seal of approval on the corrupt vote? Hasn't the current administration invited the UN to monitor our election
Look at what happened in Minnesota when the Democratic machine kept recounting the votes until Al Franken won. There has to be an enormous flood of conscientious, conservative voters on Tuesday.
Reagan 54,455,472
Mondale 37,577,352
Percentage 58.8% to 40.6%
United States presidential election, 1980
Reagan 43,903,230
Carter 35,480,115
Percentages 50.7% to 41.0%
Thanks. I would say my slightly less landslidey predictions for the electoral and popular splits could work.
John Anderson (I) took away 5,719,850 popular and 6.6% in 1980.
Is the 1984 Reagan rout the worst in election history?
295 R, 243 O
Self-interest is the ultimate motivator. The history of our country shows that immigrants (legal or otherwise) eventually move into the middle-class. As they do, the same self-interest for themselves and family push them to the things conservatives believe in. Yes, the demographics are changing, But the demographic members are also changing. That's why the Democrats have to keep bringing in more and more immigrants. They MUST replace all those immigrants who become Americanized and Capitalized---and begin to vote Republican because that is who they have become!
Don't forget that we Americans have a tendancy to rebel against that type of effort. The real counter-culture these days are the conservative youth. There are more than most people think.
He’s not running against Bob Doleful.
First item on the agenda for the new administration: VOTER REFORM
I think it may be the largest EV total, perhaps the largest EV percentage (maybe Roosevelt’s was higher in ‘36, I don’t know). As far as PV goes, it was not a record. Johnson’s clobbering of Goldwater in ‘64 is still the largest PV percentage, at least in modern elections (Washington’s was higher, but that wasn’t much of a contest).
The first item had better be kicking every last one of Obozo's unelected "czars" and their minions to kingdom come!!
I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves -- let's get the election over with first. But conservatives will need to watch Romney very carefully in those first few months. His actions (or lack thereof) dismantling the Marxist sub-government will be telling.
The over/under on Obie electorals is 100.
“Is the GOP relying on a sudden, undocumented, surge of enthusiastic Republican voters to wash Obama from the White House? This is not a sound policy. Is it based on wishfull thinking or do pundits really perceive a mass GOP vote? How realistic is this? “
Nope. The GOP is basing its strategy on private, internal polling, which is conducted to paint an accurate picture with the aim of optimally directing resources and strategy, and paying no attention whatsoever to public polling whose primary function is to either 1.) Help Obama win the election by misleading and confusing people, 2.) Keep people tuning in to the media outlets because the election is “close”, or 3.) Both of the above.
