Mark Warner might fit. I recall he was touted as a strong challenger to Hillary in 2008, but declined to run. There were rumors of 'intern problems'. But he's not running this year so it doesn't fit the Drudge headline about hitting a campaign.

Who's the top D Sen. overseeing their 2012 Sen. campaigns? Could it be...Schumer?

Warner was who I just suggested. His whole demeanor seems to suggest that type of behavior is a possibility, the arrogance and the sneering.
