Unfortunately the two EX-SEALS were retired and NOT in the militaty. They were working for a private security company under contract to the CIA.

Since they were not active duty servicemen they are not eligible for the Congressional Medal of Honor. Likewise, since they were ‘actively’ retired and out of any of our armed forces thay again are not eligible.

There is however a high civilian award that they are eligible for and I believt that they should be awarded those medals.

IF they were eligible for the CMOH I would certainly support them for it.

Even though they were not on active duty they fully displayed their military training and they certainly were true heroes.
