Froze in my chair; when Christie gave Obama a 'campaign endorsement' he is already using. New Jersey can recover from a hurricane. NJ - and no other State; and citizens therein; will recover from 'more' of Obama. Christy should have saved his bloviated praise for a 'private' call. Seemed a bit out of synch; given daylight had barely broken on this tragedy(in a manner of speaking and given 'real test' ahead.)

The only other thing worth noting about Christie; is if there was a contest as to who habitually mentions 'themselves' in their rhetoric 'more often'; Christie vs Obama; it might be a 'tie'.

(Impossible to keep up a count of how many 'I's and Christie's 'self referencing', "me"; frames almost every thought/sentence. MY state; MY decision; MY idea. . .I,I,I...me; me; me. Yes; a real challenger for Obama's record.)

There is a critical difference, of course; and that is what comes 'after' the self-reference. Christie offer serious solutions for the most part; beneficial to his State. Obama OTOH; does the precise opposite.
