The October bankruptcy of solar company Satcon Technology Corp. puts the number of bankrupt or troubled green energy companies as high as 50, according to one estimate.
During the first presidential debate, Republican candidate Mitt Romney said the Obama administration had doled out $90 billion to green energy companies, half of which he said had failed, which sparked a media-wide debate over the accuracy of the claim.
The Romney campaign later clarified that he was talking about the DOE’s 1705 loan program which doled out $16.1 billion to green energy companies, according to the Washington Post. Of the 33 companies that received 1705 loan guarantees, only three have declared bankruptcy.

As radio show host Mark Levin has said, “Green is the new Red”. This is a play on the saying “The Green Party is like a watermelon, Green on the outside, Red on the inside”, a very accurate description over time.
However, the term “Friends of Obamatron” is also accurate in that a number of Green businesses are/were owned by big Democrat contributors/bundlers (or bunglers) to Obama and the Democrat Party. Even if they go bankrupt, they have earned big salaries/benefits/perks, their key investors get paid first, and the small investors and employees are like miners, “they get the shaft.”
[Bases on an old football cheer, “Elevator, Elevator, we got the shaft”, regarding a bad ref call].
The bottom line is that the Green industry program of Obama and Chu (Dept. of Energy), has been one big colossal failure, and in some cases, criminal frauds.
Still waiting for DOJ to bring fraud indictments. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
Name one big Obama supporter who has been indicted and/or convicted of economic fraud. Ain’t gonna happen with The God-King Obama and his legal buttboy Holder in office.
Our “Hope and Change” comes next week, when we “HOPE” that the American people wake up to this whole criminal fraud administration and shows them the door out of power and into prison. That is the “CHANGE” we want.

The GOP should have come out against all corporate welfare and subsidies this year. That would have flummoxed some of the sheeple.

Newt Gingrich was Greta’s show on FNC tonight and he said within the next 2 days there will be damaging reports coming out about the corruption associated with many of the loans to these green energy companies.
Looks like the dam is about to break on Obama...
