If needed, Iran may be either subverted using it’s own disidents or militarily destroyed without significant loss in men and materiel. You won’t say the same about a future Al-Qaeda’s caliphate of Africa and ME. With Syria and Egypt included it will be a nuclear superpower ruled by Osama bin Laden types. last time I’ve check it was Al-Qaeda behind 9/11, not Iran. That is my point. Both are bad, but it makes a bad chass player to support an absolutely worse party which has a recent history of brutally attqacking you.

Actually I am not convinced that Al-Qaeda acted alone on 9/11. Our liberals sure acted as if they had intel that something was known and should have been prevented. They saw fit to accuse President Bush of all manner of vile things. I have always wondered what did they know and when did they know it. Most especially the Clintons.

The way I see things is that liberalism is a mindset not limited to any particular race, creed or religion.

I can’t see how Al-Qaeda version makes Bush guilty.
And maybe there was another party behind 9/11 but I see absolutely no evidence to prove it.
OBL took responsibility, hijackers belongs to places there Wahabism is widespread and Al-Qaeda has much influence.
It is extremely unlikely if Saddam, Q-duffy or Iranian mullahs did it.
