Riech...the guy who testified under oath that “Stimulus”money would not go to contruction workers....
What this goofball (and his brethren) seem to not understand is that there is a world of difference between forced community vs. voluntary community. Obviously the basic responsibility of governments big and small is to ensure the safety of the public in times of disaster BUT it can never replace the common decency of the public at large to look out for each other irregardless of political affiliation, income level or social standing.
A meaningless phrase liberals have never been made to explain.
Freedom does not mean you are “on your own.” Right now, emergency personnel are trying to keep people safe and assist those in danger. Not a single one of those people were forced into taking that job - they all made that decision themselves. Countless volunteers will be donating their time and money to help their fellow man during this storm and in the aftermath - all of them making that decision themselves. Being free does not mean you are on your own.
If you walk into a store to buy things...someone made the items, someone shipped them there, someone stocked the shelves, etc. All of that was done through liberty. No one is “on their own.”
Just yet another false narrative from the left.
The Narcissist in Chief is in it alone.
