BTW, I do NOT mean to leave out the more rural areas and others along the coastline who ARE getting whacked. I’m sure there are going to be a lot of people in serious distress, and their problems will be complicated by the enormity of what’s happening in the NYC and surrounding area, as there just aren’t enough resources to cope / help everyone.

Some of those areas in NYC people will not be allowed to get back to right away.
Now imagine all those who evacuated and can't get back home ?
Air Travel up and down the east coast especially NYC will be a mess for days.
