Saltwater, if not dried forthwith, poses much risk to electrical relays and switches (many quite old) on which the whole system depend, not to mention doing no favors for the wiring itself.

I've also read that many of said parts, if rendered unservicable for whatever reason, are not readily replaceable with off-the-shelf stuff.

Surely someone more knowledgeable can chime in, but lotsa folks might have some unscheduled time off this / next week, barring alternative transport arrangement.

So Liberals and their convoluted logic would say that since NY City will be basically shut down for days, weeks, or even months that we should all postpone the election so those people can vote.
So would these very same liberals give the same consideration if a huge storm hit Texas, Alabama, red states ? I think not... so tuff CRAP liberals.... the show must go on.
