Not getting much reporting out of upland w. PA and WV. Any insights? I’m worried about some friends in the WV Appalachians with the snow.

Don't know. Since my previous post we have dropped to 39F, winds have increased into the 30s and we accumulated another .2" of rain. Turned on the scanner and there are reports of trees starting to come down. I truly feel sorry for the people in the path of the heavy wet snow.

You asked about a report from WV. So far in our area, middle western WV, things have been quiet all day. Just a gentle rain and a light breeze. Now the only change is the wind has picked up a little. Looks to be about 15-20 mph. We may get some snow flakes in with the rain, but don’t think it will stick. We are on the banks of the Ohio River. They say the big snow will be in the mountains where the ski resorts are. Don’t think they will mind.
