Rather than letting the people on the ground decide how to fight this battle who had the best knowledge of what was happening rather we had the politicians discussing what this battle meant politically and how it would affect his election chances.

This is one instance where the buck really does stop at the WH. Only the President can order US forces to initiate a military action in another country. It can't be left up to the military or SECSTATE or SECDEF. They can make recommendations, but only the President has the authority to make the decision.

Obama clearly made the decision, but he is not owning up to it. No doubt political considerations seem to have been the major factor. He deemed his own political career to be more important than the American lives under his command. Obama is the lowest of the low.

Which explains why his ass needed to be dragged from the golf course the day/eve the hit on OBL went down. He most likely did NOT want to be there, but as a matter of protocol/technicality, they needed his skinny ass in the room...for cover, afterall.
