A kiddie beauty pageant could be taken all in good humor, where nobody believes anything serious is intended and the idea is to reward the most imaginative outfit. How could whoever did this NOT believe it was serious? Not even the mmm, mmm, mmm paeans of praise to Barack Obama in 2008 had the kids chewing out their parents for ills real or imagined. We’re watching true wickedness unfold. I think Mitt’s going to come out ahead, but the lame duck days of Obama to come will be a rocky, rocky ride. I hope Boehner mans up in the House and cedes to nothing, nothing at all until Mitt has sworn in.
