Wars are won by employing dozens of strategies, and thousand, or even tens of thousands, of tactics.

We have used the ‘slow fry’ tactics tens of thousands of times. These guys decided to change the heat to a bonfire to attract another segment of society.

This is one tactic, and will advance our cause for some. My assessment is that it will advance our argument more than it will detract.

It’s like the old farmer explaining how to train a mule. He picks up a 2 x 4 and whacks the mule in the head. “First”, he explains, “you have to get the mule’s attention.” Reminds me of the Holocaust survivor who was asked what lesson he took from the experience. “When someone says they want to kill you, listen to him.”

Agreed. Remember that if the 2000 election proved anything, it showed that every vote counts, especially in Florida (and other "swing" states).
