Sorry, that’s the way it works (and not only in the US). I have been involved in a number of election campaigns here in Sweden, and believe me there is nothing the journalists love as much as a ready made story - they can actually improve it, package it, and sell it very well, but they need someone to feed them (and explain) the facts....
What LAZY journalists we have if WE have to do their work for them and they STILL won’t write about their little man-child President!!
It’s not laziness. Look how well they dug things up on Palin. And if Romney is elected? Woo-hoo! They will be reporting everything from when he takes his morning dump to when he falls asleep at night. No scandal will be too small for them to investigate, including jaywalking. The media will make it absolute hell for Romney.
