Why is Mitt Romney rising? Americans who watched the GOP nominee debate President Obama never met the cold, greedy, sexist, racist, carcinogenic tax cheat that Team Obama promised would appear. The calm, steady, and reasonable gentleman who opposed Obama was no Gordon Gekko.
Americans might like Romney even more if they understood his random acts of kindness and significant feats of bravery. As Mara Gay, Dan Hirschhorn, and M. L. Nestel wrote for TheDaily.com: A man weighed down by the image of a heartless corporate raider who cant relate to people actually has a history of doing remarkably kind things for those in need.

Being snide and insulting and calling it an apology reveals a lot about you.
Just play things straight up.
You don't agree on that point. Ansel12's entire time on freerepublic is spent hitting as many threads as possible with comments solely motivated to manipulate people into not voting for Romney. His only point is campaigning for a third-party candidate no matter what lies he has to tell and no matter that he is helping Obama stay in office.
Only a lunatic would seriously post that the people who’s boat sank weren’t in danger, and then mention that they could have been run over by other boats as they tried to swim to shore.
Dishonesty is your stock and trade.
I have never, ever, campaigned for a third party candidate, show these people those posts if you aren't lying.
No, only a lunatic would think that people playing in front of lake houses, on a Saturday, on a play lake, with people everywhere and shore only a very short distance (Mitt’s own house was only 300 yards away, the direct path to shore was much shorter), while in 75 degree water with life jackets on, with people all around them, watching and coming over to pick them up, were “saved” by Mitt and his boys running over with their jet skis, especially when other boaters pulled over and picked them up as well.
OOPs, shore was 300 yards away, not Mitt’s house.

Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and two of his sons helped rescue a New Jersey family from a sinking boat over the weekend, a New Hampshire official said today.
The 19-foot vintage wooden boat with six people and a dog on board started taking on water Saturday evening about 300 yards from the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, in central New Hampshire, Sgt. Eric Robertson of the New Hampshire State Marine Patrol said.
‘’It took on water very quickly and they donned their life vests and jumped out,’’ Sergeant Robertson said. One passenger tried to dial 911, but water soaked the cellphone, he said.
The Romneys, who were at their lakeside summer home in Wolfeboro, and other people in the area quickly came to the rescue.
‘’The Romneys took two of the passengers and brought them back to shore,’’ Sergeant Robertson said. ‘’There were other people, Good Samaritans, out there, about three vessels including the Romneys’, helping out.’’
They can see the posts themselves just by clicking your history. EVERY post of yours is campaigning... campaigning entirely by mudslinging.
You- "They can see the posts themselves just by clicking your history."
Nope, I have never campaigned for a third party candidate, not ever, not anywhere, at anytime, not on freerepublic, not outside of freerepublic, not at any time in my life. Yet you have repeated that lie on thread after thread.
You are the kind of troll like poster that constantly lies about posters that you disagree with.
If you need the get the last word in, go ahead. I won't bother to Post back to you again. This is getting silly.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
It looks like you are right and I was mistaken, sorry.
Do you realize by your insinuations, that you’re acting like Obama in the third debate? Your posts are just oozing with condesention? Did you watch the way he acted, or not? Well he acted toward Romney with the same tone as you are in your posts! You’re posts are just dripping with sarcasm; and I and some other people don’t like it! That doesn’t seem to be the way to win over people!
I’m not trying to win people over, I just post in response to whacky claims about the most radically leftwing, anti-conservative, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda, anti-Reagan, nominee, in Republican history.
When the election is over, speaking openly about Mitt Romney, will be more accepted.
By the way, they aren’t “insinuations”.
Vote, but don’t pretend.
