Yes, I am most certain it is the same hospital that they ultimately took Stevens to. Great catch!

Days before the demonstrators forced Ansar al-Sharia from their Benghazi headquarters, Al Jazeera interviewed a senior member of the militia, and visited a hospital where it was, until Friday, providing security. (Friday Sept 19th)

“We are busy guarding our bases and the hospital [on the night of the attack]. We did not order our members to go to the protest,” he said. “We welcome all the Western countries that help us.”

Witnesses at the scene of the attack on the American Mission in Benghazi have said they saw Mr. Abu Khattala leading the assault, and his personal involvement is the latest link between the attack and his brigade, Ansar al-Shariah, a puritanical militant group that wants to advance Islamic law in Libya.

But Ansar al-Shariah also guarded a local hospital and engaged in preaching and charitable work, before popular anger at the group for its role in the mission attack forced it to scatter and hide out of sight.

But just days after President Obama reasserted his vow to bring those responsible to justice, Mr. Abu Khattala spent two leisurely hours on Thursday evening at a crowded luxury hotel, sipping a strawberry frappe on a patio and scoffing at the threats coming from the American and Libyan governments. (I recalled it being mango juice)

*snip*
Mr. Abu Khattala, 41, wearing a red fez and sandals, added his own spin. Contradicting the accounts of many witnesses and the most recent account of the Obama administration, he contended that the attack had grown out of a peaceful protest against a video made in the United States that mocked the Prophet Muhammad and Islam.

*snip*
He also said that guards inside the compound — Libyan or American, he was not sure — had shot first at the demonstrators, provoking them. And he asserted, without providing evidence, that the attackers had found weapons, including explosives and guns mounted with silencers, inside the American compound.

*snip*
Although Mr. Abu Khattala’s exact role remains unclear, witnesses have said they saw him directing other fighters that night.

*snip*
He said he had arrived just as the gunfire was beginning to crackle and had sought to break up a traffic jam around the demonstration. After fleeing for a time, he said, he entered the compound at the end of the battle because he was asked to help try to rescue four Libyan guards working for the Americans who were trapped inside. Although the attackers had set fire to the main building, Mr. Abu Khattala said he had not noticed anything burning.

*snip*
Witnesses, Benghazi residents and Western news reports, including those in The New York Times, have described Mr. Abu Khattala as a leader of Ansar al-Shariah, whose trucks and fighters were seen attacking the mission.

There are a few interesting facts from the articles.

The dates don’t line up on the NYT article and it doesn’t line up with when the group was supposedly ousted from the hospital, Sept 19th. But the NYT says on Sept 17th they had been ousted from the hospital already. The dates don’t make sense.

Also interesting is that this guy is adamant that the anti-muslim video is the reason that the attack happened. Others in Benghazi say that just isn’t so and all was quiet before all L broke lose.

He says he went to break up a traffic jam right after the gunfire.

From timeline:
Agents pile into an armored vehicle with Smith’s body and leave through the main gate. They face immediate fire. Crowds and groups of men block two different routes to the security compound. Heavy traffic means they are traveling only about 15 mph and trying not to attract attention. On a narrow street they reach a group of men who signal for them to enter a compound. They sense an attack and speed away, taking heavy fire from AK-47 machine guns at a distance of only 2 feet and hand grenades thrown against and under the car. Two tires are blown out.

He said the attackers found weapons, explosives and guns mounted with silencers inside the compound.

Also, witnesses said that this guys trucks were seen at the attack, a truck is seen in that video of the burning compound. At the five second mark of that video, you can hear two men talking and one says I bet they’re going to kill him. Shots are heard as two men are leaving the burning building and one is inside the open door of the truck.

That video of ‘good’ Libyans saving Stevens was propaganda made for Americans. This whole thing was so dam* planned out.

This almost makes it seem like our government was in cahoots and planned this with Abu Khattala, the hospital is where it was planned to take him and not for medical help. This whole thing STINKS to high heavens and more than just gun running.
