"The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights."

I've read that someone "painted the target", but have not read that it is verified. If that occurred, like the poster says above, the "painter" knew of a potential air strike or wouldn't have bothered. I wonder what he knew via comms.

If I was still military, I would risk everything to spill all. I wouldn't care if I wound up drying cars at a carwash. I would have my integrity in tact and live my life out as an honorable man. More need to come forward.

If any military of other civilian operatives are reading this, it's your time to stand up. You can stay in fear of the system or make a difference for your fallen mates. Protect your pension or do the right thing. Sheesh, guys/gals. You have no idea how many would support you, even financially. And if not enough, then wash some dishes and be able to look at yourself in the mirror.
