Back when Cindy Sheehan was getting her 15 minutes of fame, she claimed that Dubya treated the event where he met with the families of fallen troops like a party. The story died quickly because it became clear she was lying or crazy...other families remembered a solemn and kind president, she had told her local newspaper he was kind and there was a photo of one of them kissing the other on the cheek, etc.

Now it turns out we do have a guy who treats the families of the fallen like guests at a beer bash. "Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?" sounds like something one dad might say to another one over a beer at the sendoff party for a kid going in the Marine Corps. Something to laugh over on a bright day, not something to say to a Dad who's had his heart ripped out.

No wonder this clown laughed his way through the VP debate.
