Triple P (democratic outfit) published a poll in NC that had Obama winning NC and dropped Mitt to an average of 5.0%.

In the last cycle, RealClear deleted a poll like this and wrote an article explaining their move. Stay tuned.

I believe Jim has said he will be voting for Romney. As will I. Romney has made the sale to me, and it wasn't easy. I look forward to helping hold his feet to the fire and make sure he doesn't lurch left...

That was TheThirdRuffian who said that Jim couldn't vote for Romney. You will have to ask Jim whether that is the case. In California, it won't matter but down ballot candidates can have a dramatic impact on state and local issues and they deserve our support.

I think this pretty much speaks for the whole Tea Party.

It was me; I do believe Jim said it. In fact, it was an entire thread.

That said, he may of had a change of heart.

I respect the desire to get rid of Obama fully and respect those who vote for Romney for that reason.

I just can’t do it. Voting for the pot smoker — and then Republicans down the rest of the ticket.

“Doesn’t Johnson get only voters that would otherwise either vote for Romney or stay home?”

No, there are a lot of Democrats that vote on the pot issue, which is a huge concern in New Mexico (surprise, huh?).

(And, no, I don’t smoke pot and never will.)

He did say it. I went looking for posts on the progress (if any) on speeding up FR and found this:

Well, we’re praying for a Reaganesque landslide against Obama and the corrupt Democrat socialists and a continuation of the 2010 tea party tsnamami nationwide so Sheila and I voted straight Republican. Let America decisively and unquestionably reject godless Marxism! Vote ‘em OUT! Thanks!
