Mike the Dem said he was a Democrat elected to a part-time position on the city council, and that he had become a Republican because of the economy. He said that when he tried to get the city council to start employing fiscal responsibility, they turned on him and eventually caused his business to go under. He said that though he still had some disagreements with Rush on social issues, economically he was now in agreement.
liberal on social issues means massive welfare spending and supporting Planned Parenthood and other liberal goodies.
