The models are all on top of each other and 9-12 ft surge along parts of the the north Jersey shore up to NYC. Plus middle of the night strike to the Delaware river.
They just aren’t catching a break so far.
Prediction here in CT for the area nearest NYC is for 10-14’ surge above high tide mark, with 6-8 ft waves above that. Long Island sound is going to have wind + surge pushing it all into the corner nearest NYC.
