Expect Romney to govern in much the way Gerry Ford did, only more of a Mr. Manager type. I'm afraid of what he will do to social issues --One step at a time. First put the fire out; then rebuild. It wouldn't matter who takes the presidency this time, as long as it's someone who loves this country and wasn't raised muslim and passed around and dumped by irresponsible commie parents. Charlie Sheen would do a better job. Let's just be happy to tread water until 2016.

I shed no tears for Oprah. She made her choice and made it all too public. Weeping over his win, like a proud Mama. She didnt know him at all. He uses people. She got used and thrown away. The same has been said of her, using people. What was it that Obama's Chicago preacher, whom she once patronized, had to say? More of them "chickens coming home to roost."

Writing style reminds me of Victor Davis Hanson.Yes, brilliant. And here I thought Mark Steyn had no peer.

I hope the irony of this empty hope in the wake of an article about empty [h]ope is not lost on everyone. Romney is not Obama, but he certainly is no leader. Half of [his] motivations are exactly the same as Obama's. Half our our motivations in voting for him are the same as those of the Left in voting for Obama. Rome wasn't built in a day. We have all the corruption since Reagan to dig out from.
A vote for Romney is a vote against Obama. That's the best we can hope for until 2016 (for which we need to start working in January, 2013). Stay focused. Don't let your dreams of "the perfect" drive out the reality of "good enough for now", "better than n0thing" or "half a loaf is better than n0ne."
