Remember how David Axelrod always seemed to get court records unsealed at the most convenient times by favorable judges? Well, Justice Ulwick was recently appointed (February this year) by Axelrod's other old client, Gov. Deval Patrick. I hope there's nothing shady going on here:

This is the same thing that got Obama into the US Senate. Don't put anything past that Chicago machine. Violating privacy and sealed records --- that's child's play. They had to go with it now because 1) Baracchio's internal polling is probably showing him losing big, 2) To try to deflect attention from the latest Benghazi bombshell: emails sent to all highest levels of the Administration, showing they knew within 2 hours of the start of the attack that it was Ansar Al Sharia (AQ). And BTW Zero, Biden & Panetta were together in the Oval Office 9/11/12 and didn't send reinforcements. They subcontracted Americans' security to local Libyan guards! Then they lied about the YouTube video. Greta and Palin were fuming about it tonight.

Obama must really be steamed after that last debate because Romney’s part in the Stegman divorce info has been hashed and rehashed time and again on the internet. All this info seems pretty lame to me given it was and continued to be an extremely bitter divorce. Lots of “he said” and “she said.” I hope this isn’t going to be a sleazy attempt to put some kind of face on the alleged “War on Women.” Then again, it is the Obama campaign and Gloria Allred.
The former Mrs. Stemberg “who claims no health insurance due to what she claims are extensive medical conditions” lives in a $5,600 per month abode and had a generous (by my poor standards) settlement.
Romney testified at the time and rumor has it that he told the court that Stemberg’s Staples stock was over-valued in the court records. This was sometime in 1988. Of course in the Spring of 1989, the stock went public and Mrs. Stemberg had sold off half of her stock before then.
I don’t know when Romney was working with Wall Street to take the stock public, but, the Dems may be trying to say that Romney devalued what was the couple’s primary asset in a state that is 50/50 in divorce cases. In my opinion, Romney’s involvement in Staples was due to Stegman’s excellent sales skills and not any earth shattering financial data at the time.
But then, that’s what I want in a President is someone who can look at economical possibilities and see the possibilities.
There was also some story out there at one time that the Stegman son had approached Romney to help his mother. Stegman and his son were not on excellent terms after the divorce. I don’t see how that involves Romney.
I didn’t quote any links to this info because it has been all over the internet for a long time. You can find it easily on the internet. If this is it, what a desperation shot it is and the Rats must really be shaking in their shoes a couple of weeks prior to the election.

Even if they do not unseal them in time this could turn into a mini Watergate fiasco for the next two weeks which is Option B in Obama's plan, I would imagine.

What? You think women don’t lie in divorce proceedings...especially where money is concerned? Well they do. And for all we really know she did and got away with it. I’ve seen it happen time and again in Family Court. Women who are mothers don’t need any proof of anything they say when the “best interests of a child” are in play. So yeah...I blame the busty ex-Mrs. Ryan as much as I blame Mr. Ryan for Barry being where he is and because I’m a woman ogling old pictures of her fake jugs don’t make up for anything. She did much to create the problem we are all living with now as did her ex hubby, BTW, you don’t imagine Jack Ryan was the one who leaked those unsavory rumors about himself, do you? Think it through.
Sorry, but I prefer to deal with the facts as known rather than what might be. I know that both men and women lie in divorce proceedings. I also know that, in this case, the unsavory rumor that they are describing was pressure from him for her to participate in sex-club activities.
From the known record, she refused and sued for divorce.
I am not aware of any refutation of these facts from Mr. Ryan.
Unless there is dispute of the facts from the two principals in the situation, I’ll deal with the facts as known rather than speculate to make myself feel better, or more angry, or whatever.
Beyond the facts of their personal situation, there is the undisputed fact that Mr. Ryan decided he should pursue a career in politics - challenging Obama for the Senate seat - despite KNOWING that this scurrilous information existed in his past, simply awaiting discovery. If he were honest with himself, he would have known that the potential for disclosure of this information increased exponentially as the office he sought rose higher on the ladder.
We disagree on her culpability. I don’t see evidence she should shoulder the blame, given the facts as known.
