President Obama’s once seemingly unstoppable march toward re-election hit what he might call “bumps in the road” in Benghazi, Libya, late on Sept. 11, 2012. It might be more accurate to describe the effect of the well-planned and -executed, military-style attack on a diplomatic facility there as the political equivalent of a devastating improvised explosive device on the myth of the unassailability of the Obama record as commander in chief. Thanks to intrepid investigative reporting — notably by Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge at Fox News, Aaron Klein at WND.com and Clare Lopez at RadicalIslam.org — and information developed by congressional investigators, the mystery is beginning to unravel with regard to what happened that night and the reason for the subsequent, clumsy official cover-up now known as Benghazigate. The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

I distinctly remember several news sources that talked about this during the days when the rebels were pursuing Qaddafi. Government armories were being opened and weapons were walking away, but our people were also providing weapons to the rebels, who were somehow different from the remainder of AQ.

I wish the press would stop using the word “Benghazigate”. It trivializes the murder of at least four Americans...”xxxgates” have to do with sexual cover-ups like John Dean burglaries of Watergate and Clinton blow-jobs.
The attempted cover-ups Benghazi and Fast and Furious have to do with MURDERS and should be referred to the the BENGHANZI MURDERS COVERUPS and THE FAST AND FURIOUS MURDEERS COVERUPS...nothing less.

I noticed last night in the debate that Obama made several attempts to say that his administration was going through great pains to make sure those weapons going to support fighters in Libya and Syria were in fact ‘going to the good guys.’
Me thinks he knows this deal is fixing to blow up in his face. He also went to great pains to bring up his ‘support for Israel’ at every turn. The man is going to do a wag the dog before this election....no doubt about it. He is desperate.

I will ping you, I know people are working on another aspect of this story as it pertains to the people in justice involved in the release of GITMO detainees who may have been in Benghazi ,my guess is they will not act until after the election and Holder is a lame duck. Glenn Beck did an hour show yesterday on this . He named the Turkish point man who worked alongside Stevens to funnel the weapons to the jihadis . Glenn went much deeper on the rest of it. The first phone call Obama made as president was to the Turkish president and has now called him 13 times .The Turkish president hates Assad in Syria . These weapons were being funneled into Turkey to be distributed to jihadis to take out Assad in Syria.Why would the United States president help Turkey take out Syria ?? Was Stevens security weakened to take him out as a potential witness to Obamas gun walking?? Not to far to reach , when we know Obama uses people then throws them under the bus and it would explain why the White House watched from a drone on September 11 as Stevens and others were murdered.For eight hours this attack went on , forces could have been brought in from Tripoli , they weren't . A plane could have been sent in within an hour , YET NOTHING was done to help Americans as they were attacked! The kicker to this whole story is Obamas new "trusted friends " , the Muslim Brotherhood is the one who advised Obama as to who to funnel these weapons to . Turkey and Russia are aligning with Iran and our president is arming our enemies . Lovely !

Seven hours to get them out - that’s more than enough time to evacuate, documents and ‘equipment’. All was lost. Somehow like allowing a undamaged drone to fall into Iranian hands. Too much weird stuff — even the lies are lame...
