I live in Iowa and very seriously doubt if it’s in the bag. There are a huge number of union, welfare and university leftists here. Most live in Davenport, Dubuque, Iowa City (just as left as Madison) and Des Moines. The number is much larger than people outside the state appreciate. One can only hope that their enthusiasm is low, as I do.
