Note...on Friday afternoon, on the Five (Fox)....they mentioned this Middle-Eastern guy who has made accurate statements in the past, and he’d hinted strongly of talks between the US and Iran over the last couple of weeks. This was before the New York Times came out with their story on Saturday afternoon. I think if we check around....there’s probably some mentions in the French and British press over the last week of meetings going on.

At the heart of the matter...I think the original plan was to conclude the deal about a week ago and release before this debate. Iran walked around the deal, and apparently said that they couldn’t do it until the winner was declared.

Adding to this mess...Ms Jarrett (WH advisor)...who was born in Iran and has numerous connections to people in Iran....probably had some involvement in trying to make this happen.

The Chicago political cabal are old hands at political theater. Remember all the anti-Wall Street demonstrations with paid “demonstrators” holding signs produced in graphics shops? And the thousands bussed in to Wisconsin to “protest” Walker's austerity plan? Then Al Sharpton in Arizona with armies brought in from California and the East Coast, hoping to set off a race war.

These national security leaks cost the DNC nothing in dollars and once the news media trumpets them it's like millions in free campaign advertising. The problem is there were too many leaks, some of top secret projects, from sources that could only be connected to the White House. That betrayal negates any positive gains—which are few—from Obama’s foreign policy.
