While Obama is running his campaign based on binders, Big Bird and "Romnesia" (whatever that means!), people are openly laughing at Obama for making such silly trivial issues the lead part of the campaign.

On Oct. 3, I raised a question here that reflected President Obama’s strong momentum and Mitt Romney’s apparent readiness to accept defeat.
“Are you a good loser, Mitt?” I wrote.
I have my answer. I’ve gotten it so many times in the last 17 days that I am now convinced of it.
The answer is no, Mitt Romney is not a good loser. He is instead determined to be the next president of the United States.
And I am starting to believe he will be.
The New & Improved Mitt took the stage in the first debate, which came on the day of my question. The timing is important, because the day marked what, in hindsight, was the low point of the Romney campaign.
He was drifting, not fighting, and seemed oddly content with a race sliding away, as though the nomination was victory enough. Obama, on the other hand, gave every indication he wanted to keep the job, no matter what it took. His re-election had a growing sense of inevitability.
Then came that first debate, where Romney’s brilliant performance and Obama’s snooze flipped the script. But it is now clear Romney’s sudden zest wasn’t a one-off. He has continued to gain support after the second debate, an illustration of the power and depth of the change to his approach.
Some polls show him leading nationally by as much as 6 points, and the Electoral College map is moving in his direction. Romney still needs more states in his column and there is plenty of time for the race to swing back to Obama.
But there is no denying that we have witnessed a man rising beyond what seemed his ability to meet a challenge. If Romney were an athlete, we would be asking whether he’s on steroids.

Maybe. I was just poking around FB and looked at my NY liberal, Harvard-educated cousin’s page. She has a phrase strung up at her house that she took a picture of and it’s her banner photo: “Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.” I thought I heard Romnmey reference that at some point so I searched it and saw it was from the TV show Friday Night Lights. Hmmm. My cousin voted for Obama in ‘08, she had Michelle Obama listed as her favorite person, etc. She still lists herself as politically liberal yet she’s quoting Romney. I don’t know what to think. And my parents are voting for Romney this time around, too.
I underestimated Romney as well because he is not as conservative as I am. We all have our prejudices. Romney is tougher, smarter and more respectful of the Constitution than I ever thought. His willingness to take Obama and the media on at the Al Smith dinner was especially illuminating. His willingness to stand toe to toe with O at the debates was awesome. In fact, he convinced me so much that I sent him a significant contribution and put up a yard sign and a bumper sticker on the car. I would never even have considered this a year ago. Crap happens.

Romney shows disdain for Obama, yet is firm, confident, and polite about it. It’s a perfect mix.
He doesn’t come across a condescending while he does it. Rather he appears like a father scolding a child.
Has Bork Obunga ever taken a class in Economics 101 class? Doubtful.
Romney’s knowledge of business and capital markets is staggering in comparison to Obunga’s primitive/greedy understanding.
I've always thought he should be (on paper credentials) and since he's come out swinging he has taken the high ground and shown himself to be exactly what you describe. Of course, it didn't hurt him a bit to name Paul Ryan as his running mate.

I have been saying for weeks now that Mitt is running a very tight, very well organized, very intelligently war-gamed campaign. He’s using the tools he has available as they are needed, he is not wasting his ammo, he is making good progress and he is precisely where he expects to be at this stage.
Does he have bigger guns? Yes, and when the time is right, he will use them.
