we could not help but wonder if David Axelrod has had “the talk” with Barack and Michelle Obama. “The talk” is that conversation between campaign manager and candidate, typically held on the Monday before election day, when the campaign manager says “it’s over”.

I doubt if "the talk" has taken place yet. Obama is not going to give up that easily. There is still a little over two weeks left until election day - plenty of time for some last minute dirty tricks to try to take down Romney.
