The most famous and revered pastor in America, Billy Graham, is calling on voters to cast a ballot for their faith in full-page ads in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today and other newspapers.
Grahams picture appears prominently in the ads, next to copy that reads, As I approach my 94th birthday, I realize this election could be my last.
It continues, I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel. I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Vote for biblical values this November 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.
The ad hit the prominent papers Wednesday and Thursday, and could hit a dozen more newspapers...

Nice to see him taking a public stand. I wish he had done it in earlier years, but, rather late than never.
I would want a president who is a man of faith to honor this man when we have to lay this man to rest.
Ditto.
“A man of faith”?
Neither Obama or Romney worship the trinitarian Yahweh God of the Holy Scriptures.
Obama thinks he “IS” a god.
Romney thinks he’ll “become” a god.
Graham is very very well connected, with lots of people, very powerful people. Harvey MacKay wrote about him in an extemely impressive fashion.
The media doesn’t discuss another thing about Romney, and that is the power behind the mormon church.
“’Vote for biblical values this November 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.’
Amen, Reverend Graham. Amen and Amen.
But sadly, we are stuck with these two canidiates.
A third party canidiate will only get us Obama again.
For all the issues I have with Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon, at least he will not run this country into the ground. I am more worried if Obama gets re-elected, it is lights out for the USA.
The lds-org denies that Jesus is the Creator, that everything was created THROUGH Him, BY Him and FOR Him.
They deny that Jesus created even the angels out of nothing.
They do NOT teach the truth about Jesus.
How any Christian can support Dems is way beyond me. It’s more than abortion and marriage. The heart of the jackass party is envy, jealousy, bitterness and coveting other people’s money. And idolatry. It”s all about replacing God with government. They want people to look to and rely on gov rather than God.
I wish more Christians would get this.
Romney is ahead in the polls.
He’s picking up likely voters left and right.
If he governs the nation as a conservative, maybe I’ll vote for him in 2016.
But right now, I really don’t trust him, and I will put my trust in God, not in the 2-party system.
What you say may be accurate, but I have come to the conclusion that I will vote for Mitt Romney just like I voted for George Bush Sr. who is a good man, professes a belief in God, but may not actually have a personal relationship with Christ.
If the criteria is to only vote for a born-again Christian, then we may only seldom vote. What about other candidates for other offices?
Yes, Mitt Romney is a Mormon, but how is that any different from any non-believer who runs for office? I see no Biblical command to only vote for Christ followers, although of course it would be great to have many more such options.
If lots of people think like you Romney won't be running in 2016, we'll be fortunate to HAVE and election in 2016.
and=an *rolling eyes*
I don’t trust the GOP-e, and I don’t trust the SLC-org, either.
Name one nationally known conservative lds politician, other than the recent woman who just got elected (I forget her name).
You’ve got the Hatches, the Reids, the Udalls, the Romneys. All LIBS.
Look at my tagline. I designed it for Rush Limbaugh, who seems to think that lower taxes is the only thing that defines conservatism.
My tagline ALSO should be a defining conviction for Romney.
I am NOT NOT NOT convinced he’s a “conservative”.
” I wish he had done it in earlier years, but, rather late than never.”
We never had an America-hating Muslim Marxist as POTUS before.
Neither Obama or Romney worship the trinitarian Yahweh God of the Holy Scriptures.
The poster did not say evangelical, or Catholic, or orthodox, or Jewish... He said a "man of faith". We do not have to believe that his religious beliefs are true and correct to recognize that Romney is indeed a "man of faith"...
I will vote for Mitt Romney as will my husband. Was he our first choice? No. But we believe that we are just as accountable to the Lord for not voting as we are accountable for who we vote for.
I refuse to let my absence at the polls translate into a vote for Obama. And Biden. And Holder. And Napalitano. And Sebelius. And Clinton (although I guess she plans to quit).
I’m not convinced Romney is a conservative, either. He says he can be. I am willing to give him a chance to show me. I am convinced Obama is a communist. He has said as much, and is showing us. I am not willing to give him another turn. We are not on a Christian crusade here, although it would be nice if we had that choice. I believe we are here to hire one of 2 applicants for a job.
