I’m sorry, but I too grew up in the close area as well and I remember it being in the news then quite a lot and for years afterwards as little Robbie made small measures of succeses through the years. I just don’t understand how you didn’t see or read or hear the awful news.
I got back to town in 2002, and I am in Sugar Land.. I read everything but The Houston Chronicle (I have a gag reflex with HC)..
I believe you Ron, but I have never read it in any national or other state publications.. It seems big enough to make at least, The NY Times, Wash Post, Wash Times, USA Today, Dallas Morning News, Austin Statesman..etc
