“Wasn’t it 52/45 yesterday? What happened to that point?”

Probably nothing. You’re going to get statistical noise which can change how numbers are rounded off without much actual movement.

We need to avoid thinking every miniscule change in the numbers is meaningful. Some are; some aren’t.

Yep. It could have been 51.7 R - 44.6 O yesterday and it will have rounded to 52-45. Today it could be 51.4 R - 44.9 O and you get today’s results. Interpreted with the stated margin of error of +-2%, it could be 49-47.
