I realize your comment is meant to be humorous. But on the chance it was not, I doubt it was a disgruntled movie critic. If true, he would have blown up one of the theatres instead of the food court — which is a large space with many people in it. He wanted to kill or injure as many people as possible.

The WDC area is full of wacky moozlums just waiting for the word to kill you and your family. Be safe.

The mall where this happened is home to 1 of 4 theaters in the country where “Hating Breitbart” is opening today. Coincidence?? Maybe. The theaters are on the top floor of the mall, the Food Court is the bottom.

The mall has a metro stop, connects to a an 8 level parking garage, there are offices and the Washington Capitals practice rink on top of the parking garage. The clientele of the mall are sometimes sketchy, but it’s not a dying mall yet.

In Arlington, the Feds would look at anything like this very seriously. Throwing a 40oz bottle down the atrium into the Food Court is basically “depraved indifference”. Add the gas and lit fuse and it is premeditated murder, in VA it could be capital murder if two or more people are killed. Since it’s bleeding-heart Arlington, probably not on state charges by the local DA.

I don’t know why it didn’t light, maybe it took a lucky bounce and the neck of the bottle was out of the splash zone. Olde English 800, the “weapon of choice” — cheapest buzz in the convenience store.
