Yup. Just to date myself (I’ve worked in the area on two different stints in the last 20 years) when I worked there most recently I missed the old Slades that was on the first floor. I think there’s only the one in Tysons now (although the name’s been changed).

Was Slades a restaurant? If so, what is the name of the former Slades at Tyson’s Corner? Was that on the first floor on Wilson Blvd side sort of in the middle where they have a different restaurant now?

I believe Ballston Mall opened in 1986 or 1987. The old Hecht’s department stores was the anchor — now Macy’s.
