And I am sick of the nonsense that one has to have some personal connection to the military in order to have a valid opinion about going to war.
Either we have civilian control of the military, or we don't. Either just being a citizen is enough, or we have a military junta.
If someone can't point out the real merits or drawbacks of someone's foreign policy ideas, specious crap like "you just want other people's children to die while yours go to college" just makes you sound like a Democrat.
Individuals not serving is one thing, but the Romneys are unique, they have refused military service not only since before WWII, but all the way back to when they arrived here to serve Joseph Smith, 170 years ago.
They have a perfect, unbroken record, a family rule written in stone, mix that in with the anti-American acts of the grandfather, fleeing the country, and of the earlier ancestors, and we see a pattern.
