In 1966, I was a regular listener of “Boss Radio” 93 KHJ, one of California’s oldest radio stations and the top rock blaster in the Southland at the time. In December of that year, “Hello, Hello” was getting plenty of airplay on KHJ as well as its competitors, KRLA and KFWB.

As I recall, Sopwith Camel was pretty much a west coast band, although I did pick up on it over on the east coast.

Don’t know if I still have it, but I did have that whole LP in MP3 format. There were actually a couple of decent cuts. Frantic Desolation being one.
