The target is not just a mall: it’s the main lunch location for folks who work for the National Science Foundation and scientists visiting the NSF to serve on grant review panels.

Somehow, I suspect the fact that this mall is across the street from DARPA and the Office of Naval Research matters more.

Though the fact I live two blocks away likely makes this the most vital terrorist target in the US.

this was another of those pesky terrorist attacks. it would have succeeded if he soaked the fuse in gas and dropped it from a lower height.

Two attempted attacks in two days, the fed and now a mall.
