SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) The head of the U.S. Senates Intelligence Committee said Wednesday that it appeared an intelligence mistake along with inadequate security were to blame for the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the American Embassy in Benghazi, Libya that claimed the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens, a Bay Area native, and three others.
I can tell you this, I think we do know what happened now. Theres no question but that it was a terrorist attack, there is no question but that the security was inadequate and I think that there is no question that we need to work on our intelligence, said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) during an exclusive interview with CBS 5.
Feinsteins comments came one day after a spirited back-and-forth exchange between President Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney in their second debate over the assault on the consulate. Romney claimed the attack was a symptom of weakness in Obamas foreign policy.

For once, I have to agree. The lady summed it up.
The problem is that perfectly good intel turns to crap when it gets to Langley (or wherever else)...
Well, Diane, you are a good Democrat. Obama is a good Democrat. Hillary is a good Democrat. Everyone involved is a good Democrat. What does that say about you good Democrats????
The American People are offended that you would pretend a video is responsible for your foreign policy failures!
Romney should have said......
I heard a story yesterday while in Washington, DC. The the guards hired by the British firm were known Jihadist’s. It true this would be the nail in Obama’s reelection chances. If the story is tru then it makes sense for Romney to wait until Monday’s debate. Allowing obummer to really keep his lies going until the can bring his regime down.
Has anybody else heard this about the guards being Jihadists?
The intelligence failure wasn’t in the intelligence community, Ms. Feinstein. That excuse won’t expiate those who declined to protect our people in Benghazi.
MI Ping
No, Diane. The TEERRORISTS are to blame. Lack of secrity and vigilence allowed them to succeed.

There was no intelligence mistake. The intel was completely and totally ignored by this administration and the state department. And it was egregious. Makes one think it HAD to be deliberate because it had been coming and warning of trouble for months. The mistake was trusting traitors to protect and defend this country and our people.
Yeah, after several weeks of democrats and liberals all screaming that it was a freaking MOVIE that caused this, and ARRESTING the filmmaker.
Which scandal shall we start with?
Still no one is asking what the hell these people were doing there.
THAT seems to be what is being covered up.
She’s no lady..... just another Obama-girl shilling for the regime.
When democrats f up royally and a freaking AMBASSADOR is murdered: “We need to work on our intelligence.”
When a few terrorists get water-soaked towels in their faces on an inclined board for 10-20 seconds a crack, Bush and Cheney need to resign, people’s heads need to roll.
See a problem with this?
Instead of encouraging terrorists to become Muslim and identify Islam with terrorism, perhaps we could think of a foreign policy based upon truth and discourage their appeal to Islam and terrorism.
Exactly.
The media thought Abu Ghraib, Valerie Plame, and waterboarding were huge stories...none of which resulted in anyone being killed.
Bush’s fault.
