The Slytherin party vs the Hufflepuff Party.
Guess who will always back down?

Come now; that's an insult to Hufflepuffs:

"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil"
—The Sorting Hat

That sure doesn't sound like a description of the Republican party. Loyal? Do you remember NY—23?
Just? Look at the acceptance they've shown for the GCA, NFA, the War on Drugs and "Commerce Clause" justifications of federal power.
Unafraid of toil? When was the last time they worked toward a stated party-plank? And to tie in with just, when was the last time they tried to illegalize Abortion and/or overturn Roe v. Wade?
