At the second presidential debate on Tuesday night, a camera caught first lady Michelle Obama clapping after moderator Candy Crowley told Republican presidential candidate Gov. Mitt Romney that President Obama called the Benghazi attack an "act of terror" soon after the attack on the U.S. consulate.
Nearly all of the audible applause came from those sitting away from the actual debate, but when FOX News' camera shot moved to a bird's-eye view it became apparent that the only applause from the participating debate audience came from first lady Michelle Obama. Mitt Romney's wife Ann was also sitting with the debate participants.

The quote proved to be a stumbling block for Romney, who questioned Obama’s words and was eventually overruled by moderator Candy Crowley, who injected herself into the debate and backed up the president.

To me Mitt saw the setup when Candy convieniently recalled words from a longer speech where O called it an attack in the first paragraph, and then used terror following some lead in remarks about 9-11
It did throw him off for a second but his line of long time saved the point for the next debate.
Also, time was running out as Candy didn’t give Romney the opportunity to answer Barry’s feigned offense.
Crowleys later walk back cements the followup at the foreign policy debate.

Silly writer. Rules are for the little people, not the Obamas.
Breast cancer awareness is probably the reason both women wore that color.

Overlooked is the fact that Romney put an exclamation point on obama’s Libya lie when he said, “You are saying this FOR THE RECORD?”
After that, when obama and crowley doubled down, all they succeeded in doing was to compound the lie. It is on tape. They can’t take it back. And it WILL come back to bite both of them huge.
The Obamas never worry about rules or laws. They do not have to ever obey them.
Obama came to this debate fully armed with his women, LOL.
Only applause from the participating debate audience came from first lady Michelle Obama.
The rest will give applause on November 6th when he’s gone.
