The lowest and most dishonest part of Crowley's disgraceful "moderation" was when she actually jumped into the debate to take Obama's side when the issue of Benghazi came up. To cover for his and his administration's lying for almost two weeks about the attack coming as the result of a spontaneous protest over a YouTube video, Obama attempted to use as cover the claim that he had called the attack a "terrorist attack" on that very first day during his Rose Garden statement.
Romney correctly disputed that.
Crowley, quite incorrectly, took Obama's side and the crowd exploded.

I thought it was a set-up at the time, they knew it would come up, and were prepared. She was quick to stop Romney in his tracks, and whipped out the transcript as he spoke while at the same time obama was saying - Candy show the transcript. She held it up and then proceeded to lie with Obama saying at the same time - show it again Candy and at that time - Michelle started clapping.
Romney was railroaded for sure!
I should have added that when Michelle started clapping, the “undecideds” joined in...who chose the townhall people? Luntz would have done a much better job!
Yeah. Romney had to debate both Jabba, The Hut and the Odongo at the same time with one hand tied behind his back. At the worst, it came out a tie, maybe even a win.
The Herald is a right of center newspaper, owned(or was owned) by Rupert. I read it daily in high school, and college.
Ted Kennedy actually passed a law that would force Murdoch to sell either this paper, or a TV station he owned in Boston.
The next morning, the front page of the Herald stated in HUGE bold print.

I agree with your comment about why Republican candidates agree to engage in debates where a clearly biased advocate for the Dems is selected as the moderator. The selection of moderator should be an absolute pre-condition to agree to any debate. If the other side won’t agree, then don’t debate. I’d frankly prefer the format that was used on Crossfire, where you’d get a partisan journalist on each side who would question the candidates. Romney’s got to stop playing by the marquis de queens bury rules. He didn’t hesitate to get into the dirt in the Republican primaries but he’s been a wuss in the presidential campaign.

Yes the “say it louder” remark from Obama to Crowley just reeks of that hit piece being rehearsed as Obama said it with such ease as if they had rehearsed those lines together a million times before the actual debate.

Can we say scripted and rehearsed? Candy “cheesecake” Crowley was supposedly the only one with prior knowledge of the questions being asked. We know for certain she was in the tank for Obama and Obama requires the questions ahead of time. This was a scripted ruse as it was obvious she would have never had the time to react so quickly. She also jumped on the live grenade about Libya with her 350# candy a$$, sandbagging Romney, diffusing the topic and then moving on to something else.
He did say read the transcript, but I thought he was saying that to Romney as Romney was interjecting at that point. Obozo did say to Crowley to “Say it louder” once she tried to cover for Obama’s lies.

AS ALWAYS, THE MSM IS IN BED WITH THE democRATS. MY QUESTION IS THIS: WHY ARE THE MODERATOR’S ALL FROM THE LIBERAL LEFT IN THE MSM. CNN, PBS, ABC, CBS, AND NBC......NOT ONE EVER FROM FOX NEWS. WHAT A DISGRACE.
