I very rarely come to FR these days, let alone depend on it for debate live threads.
The wonderful, free-wheeling fun live thread days on FR are apparently over... it's a shame - it used to be lots of fun.
Hope you hang in there on FR, though, FRiend... you've posted some great stuff here over the years.
Regarding the slowness issue, has there been any explanation anywhere on this site? Not trying to be a wise guy, I have looked and seen nothing.
Seems if there is a huge problem that at least people coming on the site would be able to see an explanation of what is going on. I’ve only seen it mentioned by Mr. Robinson once in a thread, briefly, basically saying “I have no idea”.
Again this is said with all due respect and deference and in realization I have no inside knowledge but it is a legitimate query.
