I do hear that President Obama will let Hillary Clinton tour a tire factory this week so she can at least match a dress to the tire tread, but one way or the other, Hillary Clinton is now going under the Obama bus.
Joe Biden began the effort to throw Hillary under the bus in the debate Thursday night. He said the White House never knew about additional security requests. With a town hall style Presidential debate tomorrow night, Barack Obama needed plausible deniability. Hillary Clinton gave it to him on CNN.
She said she took full responsibility for the unmitigated disaster that was the coverup of what happened in Libya to Ambassador Stevens and she took full responsibility for the failure to secure the Ambassador. In short, she’s falling on the sword to save Obama.
Except, doesn’t the buck stop with Barack Obama? That’s what Barack Obama said when attacking Mitt Romney over Bain Capital.

Obama will likely and characteristically stick his thumb in his mouth and curl up in the fetal position behind Hillary's ample buttocks. Or... will he try to look "Presidential" and say something like, "While many members of my administration can share responsibility for challenges that present themselves, the buck always stops at the desk of the President." Fat chance.
Romney has a chance to stick a crowbar under the volumes of billowing material, and pry up a section to reveal the man-child cowering beneath them. Everyone should see the character of a man who hides behind a women to protect himself.
The danger to America is not Barrack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.
It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barrack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

“Taking responsbility” without resigning is a LIE. It is not taking responsbility. It is verbal gymnastics to cloud the issue. It’s propaganda. It’s disinformation. RESIGN, HILLARY, RESIGN. That’s taking responsiblity.
If she’s thrown under the bus, best not be riding in it - she’ll probably cut the brake lines while she’s down there!!

I’m not sure I heard her take “ full resposibility for the unmitigated disaster that was the coverup of what happened in Libya to Ambassador Stevens” but I might have missed that part.
What I did hear was her amazing explanation of why they stuck with their obvious fabrication of the YouTube video as the cause of the disaster: it was just THE FOG OF WAR.

That’s a tough one. Near as I can figure it lying to the American people started somewhere in the 60’s, it’s just that it is more widespread and more obvious as time progresses.
I believe you are specifically referring to Benghazi, but there have been lies before that, and it will continue.

It was one of my favorite shows, along with Dr. Kildare.
It was Hitlery’s job to guarantee security of Consulates, but, the responsibility lies with DumBO.
What responsibility is Hillary really accepting? What are the consequences for her? Why did she wait over a month to make this statement? Why didn't she testify at the congressional hearing rather than sending out Lamb and Kennedy? Why wasn't Hillary on the five Sunday shows instead of Rice? Are the American people that stupid that they can believe her sham acceptance of responsibility?
This is all political theater. The timing couldn't be more clear the day before the Presidential debate. And exactly what does Hillary have to lose? She is now the heroine protecting her boss who will help her political ambitions in 2016. Where are the calls now for her to resign if she really wants to accept responsibility? Or why doesn't she offer her resignation?
Obama is not hiding behind Hillary. They are partners in crime. Hillary knows that there will be no consequences for her and Obama can just continue to blame everyone for his failures. No doubt that Hillary is helping Obama and that she knows that the intelligence community is pissed off at Biden for blaming them. Hillary is trying to calm the intelligence community and prevent leaks.
The State Department was in real time communication with the consulate as events went down. They had reports from the 25 or so survivors who escaped. They were debriefed right after they left Libya. Yet, Hillary at the Andrews AFB ceremony honoring the four killed in Benghazi blamed the video. The ceremony was held on Friday, September 14th two days before Rice went on the five Sunday shows.
