Some important demographic groups Romney needs to win over would not smile upon his overt support of Akin.

BS. What about the over 200,000 GOP voters who supported Akin during the primary? What about the pro-life and religious groups?

This begs the question. Romney and Ryan should never have asked Akin to withdraw nor should the RNC been involved. Akin apologized within 24 hours. The proper response from Romney/Ryan and the RNC was that they didn't condone Akin's remarks, accepted his apology, and that we should move on to address the concerns of Missouri voters including the repeal of Obamacare and growing the economy for more jobs.

Rove wanted Akin OUT. Would bet Romney and Ryan heeded his advice which is why I would love to see a great victory for Akin.
The “architect,” has a lot of power let’s pray the MO voter’s send a loud message to the rinos.
