If Romney is truly all over the map how can it be logically inferred that he has extreme policies? If he were all over the map, his policies would jump from extreme right to extreme left and everywhere in between.
I happen to believe the author is right to some degree - Romney will say anything to get elected - but he doesn’t hold “extreme views”. That makes no sense at all.

His solution is to sign on to the fanatical policies of the extreme right... Also known as "The Democratic Party policies of the John F. Kennedy era." :)

This woman is a deranged loud-mouth. Haven’t seen her on the Sunday morning programs as of late. I suspect that the Obama team has asked the networks to keep her off of the guest panels.

Her father was at Leonard Bernstein’s famous party in 1968 honoring the Black Panthers (as reported in Thomas Wolfe’s Radical Chic)... and she is calling Romney extreme?

He is extreme. He is further to the left than Obama on some issues.

What a funny article! Starts bemoaning that Romney has been changing his position over and over again. Read the whole thing - is there one example? No.
Oh yeah, Ryan (not Romney) is towing his bosses line on abortion. Abortion! That burning issue that remains completely dormant every 3 3/4 years until an election. No proposed legislation; no movement to amend Roe vs. Wade (of any import, anyways), no nothing - except for Catholics being forced to pay for contraction. Now there is a 1st Amendment issue. (Well, not for the Compost.)
This doesn't warrant including with the “letters to the editor”. Makes big assertions and forgets to support them. Whoops!
