If this is true, then Akin will take that senate seat from McCaskill with room to spare.

That’s not a “slim lead” thats a BIG lead..considering he was down what, 10 points a month ago

In spite of Rove, Priebus and the rest of the GOP-E trying their hardest to sabotage his campaign.

Sounds as if Romney may have legitimate coattails.

Seems the Missouri voters are not buying all Claire's advertising that she never knew Obama. There is nothing moderate about Claire despite her attempts to pretend otherwise.

The survey's sample was 38 percent Democrats, 37 percent Republicans and 25 percent independent voters. That's pretty indicative of the Missouri electorate.
btw - I’m sure glad that McCaskill “picked” Akin as her competition!
LOL!

This correlates well with the CUFVP poll that had it 48%-45 for Akin.
Not surprised. Try as they might to squelch his chances, the GOP-E still can’t change the fact that McCaskill is grossly out of step with the people in the state of Missouri, and that she is simply not a natural to win, while Akin is.

Dems are sending in Sandra Fluke to campaign for Claire...
And it will definitely be a Kodak moment when McConnell and Cornyn shake Todd's hand as he is sworn in..

In spite of Rove, Priebus and the rest of the GOP-E trying their hardest to sabotage his campaign. If Akin wins he'll be one of the most dangerous men in Washington: someone who doesn't owe anything to anybody.

If Akin wins he'll be one of the most dangerous men in Washington: someone who doesn't owe anything to anybody. I mean that in a positive way, in case it's not clear. Like when Lieberman defeated the entire Dem party and won reelection, he owed nobody any favors; they needed him and knew he didn't need them; his power was magnified 5x.

I really want Akin to win - because he is clearly conservative AND he will feel no debt or loyalty whatsoever to the leaders of the GOP.

Maybe McCaskill’s attack ads have been so over-the-top as to alienate voters.
She overplayed the rape comments controversy ?
